MOTORCYCLE HELMETS This Spring has been interesting for those of us who sell helmets. Due to the increased gas prices motorcycle use has increased dramatically perhaps as much as 50% over last year. Some major players in the wholesale motorcycle gear arena are in a jam with the Feds due to unethical and / or illegal practices . The supply of certain types of helmets has dried up. This is especially true of novelty helmets. I bought up the whole inventory of some styles from a couple of wholesalers. I also established a relationship with a major helmet manufacturer.
